Disneyland Pattern Project

Most of you know I am a Disneyland fan. Ok, more than a fan. Maybe more like a fanatic. I just love everything about the park that Walt Disney built, where you can escape from the real world for a day and live in fantasy.

That being said, I have long since wanted to do a project dedicated to Disneyland. Maybe I could take closeup photographs of small details that most people don't notice. Oh wait, Andy Castro already does that (and believe me, there is no way I can compete with his beautiful work!). Instead, I've decided to combine my love of Disney with another love: patterns.

Can anyone recall the wallpaper patterns that are up in the Main Street Lockers??? I can. Do you know what colors are used in the carpet of Muppet Vision 3D? I do. I've decided I would start cataloging all the patterns that Disneyland has. I know it is a big task, but I love uncovering all the little details of Disney that most people take for granted and pass by without a second glance.

To start off small, here are two patterns from Muppet Vision 3D in California Adventure:
Above: textured wallpaper from the halls as you walk to the main waiting area.
Below: the beautiful carpet in the theater.
